콘택트렌즈는 눈에 착용하는 순간부터 단백질이 쌓이게 됩니다.

이 단백질이 쌓이면서 모든 콘택트렌즈 트러블 위험에 시초가 됩니다.

After buying contact lens, it's very important to wash it everyday.

When you use it on your eyes, proteins piled up on the lens.

And this proteins could couse all of troubles for your eyes.

When you are using lens for a long time, you could easily feel dry and feeling of irritation.

It's because of the proteins. If the lens has lots of proteins, evaporation of tears become faster, and it cause dry.

So, what is the most important thing when you care your contact lens?

Of course, you need to wash out proteins after you use your contact lens.

일부, 잘못된 정보로 '다목적 콘택트렌즈 관리용액'에 아이풀 렌즈세척기나 문지르는 세척단계를 생략한채 담궈만 두면 절대 안됩니다.

시중에서 'No Rub, 문지르지 마세요'라고 적힌 다목적 콘택트렌즈 관리용액이 있습니다만,
3년전부터 미국 FDA에서 아이풀 렌즈세척기나 문지르는 세척 단계 필수성으로 'No Rub, 문지르지 마세요'란 문구를 사용하지 못하게 하여, 사라진지 오랩니다.

Some people just soak their contact lens in the solution because of some of wrong information, but this must not be.

There is 'Nor rub' mark on some solutions, but FDA of America forbid this mark since 3 years ago. The rubbing process is neccassry for wash your contact lens.

자!! 이제 콘택트렌즈 사용자 당신을 위한 자가테스트!! 해보겠습니다.

This is self test for you who use contact lens.

1. 렌즈용액에만 담궈 둔다.
-> NO! 렌즈에 단백질과 이물질이 깨끗이 제거되지 않고 쌓이기 때문에 시간이 지날수록 건조감과 이물감이 심해지면서 렌즈 수명이 단축됩니다.

1. Just soaking lens in the solution.
-> NO! Proteins and foreign substances didn't be washed cleary, and piled up.
It could cause of feeling of irritation or dry, and it shoten lens' life.

2. 손으로 문질러 렌즈를 세척한다.
-> NO! 렌즈 세척 효과는 있지만, 렌즈가 쉽게 변형되고, 파손의 위험이 높아집니다.

2. Wash your lens by rubbing with your hands.
-> NO! It could wash your lens, but it could be modified and damaged.

3. 렌즈를 착용하면 건조감이 심하다.
-> NO! 렌즈를 매일 세척하지 않으면, 렌즈에 단백질이 쌓이면서 친수성이 떨어져 건조감이 심해집니다.

-> NO! If you don't wash your lens everyday, proetins piled up on your lens, it could cause dry.

4. 렌즈를 착용하면 이물감이 심하다
-> NO! 매일 세척하지 않은 렌즈는 단백질과 이물질이 뒤엉켜 젤리형태로 굳어져 심한 이물감이 생겨 렌즈 수명이 단축됩

4. When you use the lens, you feel feeling of irritation.
-> NO! If you don't wash your lens everday, proetins piled up on your lens, and then you can feel feeling of irritation. And also it shorten contact lens' life.

5. 렌즈가 찌어지는 등 자주 파손된다.
-> NO! 렌즈의 소재 특성상 손바닥 위에 렌즈를 올려서 손가락으로 문지를 경우, 렌즈 곡률이 변형이 생겨 착용감이 떨어지며, 파손의 위험이 높습니다.

5. Contact lens can be damaged easily.
-> NO! If you rub your contact lens with your hands, lens can be modified. And then, you feel more uncomfortable.

6. 렌즈 트러블로 안과에 가서 치료를 받은적이 있다.
-> NO! 매일 세척하지 않아, 렌즈에 단백질 등 이물질이 젤리형태로 굳어져 눈에 상처를 주고 쌓여 있는 단백질 덩어리에 세균이 눈 건강을 위협하여 염증이 생길 확률이 높아집니다.

6. You have the experience of going to hospital because of lens trouble.
-> NO! If you don't wash your lens everday, proetins piled up on your lens. And then, the germs in proteins could be harm to you eyes, and it cause infection consquently.

7. 렌즈 케이스를 잊어버릴 때까지 새 걸로 교체하지 않고 사용한다.
-> No! 어떠한 렌즈케이스도 주기적으로 새 걸로 교체하셔야 합니다.
이유는 렌즈에 묻어 있던 단백질이 계속 사용함에 따라 렌즈케이스 벽면에 계속 쌓이게 됩니다.
이렇게 쌓인 단백질이 변성되어 세균이 온상이 될수 있습니다.
그리고, 모든 렌즈케이스는 소재가 80도 부터 변형되는 무독성 PP를 사용하므로 끓는 물에 소독하시면 안됩니다.
(권장 사용기간: 3개월 미국 FDA, 한국식약청 권고)

7. Don't chage the contact lens case until you lost it.
-> NO! You need to change your contact lens case periodically.
Because the proteins which are stained on your lens are piled up the side of lens case.
These proteins could be modified, and it could be a hotbed of germs.
And every contact lens case uses the materials which unpoisonous PP, and it could modified since 80 degree, so you couldn't put this into boiled water for disinfection.
(Recommend using period: 3 months, from FDA of America and Korea)
