Borsalino brand that was been loved by entire
world artists.
Once you wear them, it just reminds you so many
top stars like Charlie Chaplin,
Michael Jackson, and Johnny Depp.
 
 
Recently, Giuseppe Sturiale visited Korea, the General Director of the Borsalino Eyewear,
conducting in designing and producing eyewears.
On the 18th of July, we were able to meet him at the Miottica Korea Co. head office as
Miottica take roles in distributing Borsalino Eyewear brand in Asia.


- Welcome to Korea. 
How you feeling about visiting here ?


"This year from January, we have concluded a Asia distributing contract with Miottica Korea Co.
Since then, we had strong interests in Asia market. 
As we were analysing Asia markets,
we came here to see our partner Miottica who distributes our Borsalino eyewear in Korea.
In the near future, Miottica Korea will take in charge of distributing to
China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and other Asia territories as well."


- Was there any main event or reasons why Borsalino Eyewear made decision of making Asia distributing contract with Miottica Korea ?

"Miottica Korea has recently started with the frame importing and distributing business. And
Also we have started our eyewear business around that point as well. So I believed that both of our company had a matching point and matching code. Especially, when I saw Miottica, their team was very young and and they were really enthusiastic for developing our Borsalino Eyewear brand,
which actually made me to put my confidence in them. Also, when I met them at overseas, their first impression and their company's vision made us to think that we can get along each other really well. So these reasons are why we have decided to make a contract."



- What's the best part of the Korean Glasses market ?

"Not only us but so many other companies who wants to enter into Korean market believes that Korea is a dynamic marketplace that as they are trendy and accepts different fashions rapidly.
And through these, we acknowledge that Korea is a country that leads the trend in Asia.
Therefore, we are analysing Korea as a country that spreads many trends like Korean wave."



- Currently, Borsalino Eyewear is popular in Italy but yet it's unfamiliar to Korean consumers.
Please introduce us about the brand.

"Borsalino is a famous hat brand and uncountable global celebrities like
Michael Jackson and Al Pacino just loved it.
Borsalino boasts 150 years of history, started for the Italian nobility,

and it's the world's best quality handmade brand till today.
Borsalino has developed to the point of producing clothes and accessories,

including eyewears and through the development
that Borsalino has reached, they secured many manias from world stars and also been

loved by people from financial world and politicians."

- How about with Borsalino Eyewear ?

"Borsalino Eyewear is conceived, designed, and produced in Italy by famous designers.
It's 100% made in Italy and each product has detail serial numbers.
We truly pride ourselves with managing our brand thoroughly.
At the moment our eyewears are distributed to 29 different countries."


- What's the design concept or features of Borsalino Eyewear in 2013 ?


"We have designed in 1960's to 1970's retro style concept as they are the current trend,
and tried to sublate with logo plays on a frame.
The reason is instead of showing it to others, we wanted the wearer to have pride to themselves.
We really maximized with increasing the satisfaction of every consumers."
